Preparing Students for Health Careers
The Pathways to Health Careers Academy (PHCA) is a year-long academic enrichment program for high school rising juniors and seniors in Service Planning Area (SPA) 6 and underserved regions of SPA 8. The program supports students who want to make a difference in their communities through healthcare professions.

Who Can Apply?
- High school students who are rising juniors and seniors
- Must attend or live in SPA 6 or the underserved regions of SPA 8
- GPA between 2.0 – 3.5
Program Duration
- July 7, 2026 – May 31, 2027
- Hybrid format (online and in-person sessions)

Mental Health Enrichment Workshops
Program Duration: October 17 – November 21, 2026
- Location: CDU Student Center Lounge, 1656 E. 118th St, Los Angeles, CA 90059
- Class Sessions: Saturdays, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Tutoring: Saturdays, 12:30 – 2:30 pm

During the spring, scholars participate in mentorship and tutoring.
