College of Science and Health

About

The College of Science and Health is a vibrant and dynamic educational center encompassing a range of health-related medical and social science disciplines. The College includes two Departments (Health and Life Sciences, and General Studies), and several key and innovative Programs. Our health-related offerings cover areas in the biomedical field of study, such as the Bachelor of Science and a new Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences. Students can also select a more technical degree in health and health care, such as the new Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences (BSRS), in addition to the Radiologic Technology Associate Degree offering. In Fall Semester 2016 we are launching the Physician Assistant Master’s Degree Program to build a cadre of health professionals working closely with medicine, clinical care and patient care management. The Post-Baccalaureate in Pre-Medicine Certificate Program is a sound educational experience training program in Pre-Medicine led by the CDU College of Medicine in collaboration with the College of Science and Health. The Master of Public Health (MPH) in Urban Health Disparities complements very nicely our public health offerings; and for those students who want to be initiated in the discovery of the field of public health, we have a Certificate Program. Our College follows the tradition and commitment of CDU to train a diverse group of students to become compassionate health science and public health professionals who serve with excellence.
