College of Nursing Hosts Peer Mentor Mixer For Students
The Mervyn M. Dymally College of Nursing (MMDCON) hosted “Meet, Mix and Mingle ‘’ an event that showcased the various resources available to CDU students.
“Our goal today was to bring students who are pre-nursing, whether they’re outside of the University or internal to CDU, to let them know that they can come to us now if you feel you need help,” said Adrienne Milbourne-Thompson, Academic Support Specialist. “This event allowed the opportunity for our nursing students to bridge the gap as far as information and resources.”
CDU representatives from Student Government, Student Health and Wellness, Office of Student Life, Student Academic Services. MMDCON faculty, staff, and peer mentors were also present to participate in the afternoon of information sharing.
