College of Medicine Announces Associate Dean of Student Affairs

Dr. Regina Stokes Offodile will join CDU’s College of Medicine (COM) as the Associate Dean of Student Affairs effective January 10, 2023.
Dr. Offodile comes to CDU following her role as Interim Department Chair of Medical Education, Division Chief of Clinical Skills and Competencies and Director of the Pamela C. Williams Center for Clinical Skills and Simulation at Meharry Medical College.
She is a graduate of Charles R. Drew University and completed a Surgical Residency at King/Drew Medical Center, a Breast Oncology Fellowship at Stanford University, and a Preventative Medicine Residency at Meharry Medical College. Her interest and dedication to medical education led her to obtain a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education and a Master’s degree in Management of Healthcare from Vanderbilt University.
In her new role as Associate Dean of Student Affairs at CDU, Dr. Offodile will be responsible for overseeing well-being, medical student life, student services and on-campus activities. Responsibilities also include support for students, student behavior and evaluation, admissions, new medical student orientation, career advising and the student learning societies
