CDU Hosts 2nd District Racial Justice Learning Exchange Event on Campus
CDU was honored to host the 2nd District Racial Justice Learning Exchange event on campus. Organized by Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, the event spotlighted Art & Resilience in unincorporated communities.
Together with the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, CDU explored the unique artistry that defines Los Angeles and its diverse tapestry.
Participants also had the chance to join in-depth conversations with esteemed community organizations such as Juntos Florence Firestone, Willowbrook Inclusion Network and the Lennox Coordinating Council.
There was also a community canvas that attendees were invited to contribute to.
Founded in February 2022, the Second District Racial Justice Learning Exchange (RJLE) is an initiative of the Office of Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell that brings district residents, County, civic and community leaders together to learn from and celebrate our diversity, confront biases, and inspire meaningful steps to eliminate structural racism.
