GIS Consultation and Education

GIS Consultation and Education

A major activity of the Charles Drew Medical Geographic Information Systems (CDMGIS) Laboratory is to provide expert consultation and education to researchers and students on the Charles Drew University campus and within the larger CDU/UCLA/RAND research network.  This is accomplished through regular lectures, workshops, short courses and semester courses taught through the University’s Masters in Urban Public Health Program.  The CDMGIS also engages in community educational and outreach activities and K-12 partnerships.
