STEP 6: SINGLE SIGN ON (SSO) & BLACKBOARD ACCESS
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a log-in utility that allow you to enter you CDU webmail username and password once to access certain web applications during an internet session without having to log in to each application separately. This includes signing onto Blackboard. You can log onto Blackboard using HelloID.
Blackboard Learn is the Learning Management System where you will complete assignments, take exams, and interact with your classmates and professors. Your Blackboard account is created by CDU. Log in using your CDU email and password.
CDU professors use Blackboard Collaborate to host lectures. CDU’s Blackboard Administrator will be hosting a series of sessions where new students can join to get familiar with the platform. Join a session before the first day of classes to be prepared! Sessions will begin two weeks prior the first week of classes. You must first complete the New Student Orientation (NSO) before joining a session. Sessions are available for extra assistance. To join, login in to Blackboard and go to the session.
