The CDU President’s Breakfast represents an annual opportunity for an informed discussion on important topics between leaders and innovators from a range of sectors including health, education, social justice, business, entertainment, and philanthropy.
The 9th annual event will take place in person on Thursday, February 29th at the Colburn School’s Zipper Hall (200 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles).
The topic will be Immigration Reform: A Moral Imperative and will feature a lineup of panelists and speakers who will explore various aspects of immigration policy, its impacts on society, and the ethical considerations involved.
The event will include Caitlin Dickerson, Pulitzer and Peabody Award-Winning journalist from The Atlantic, as a keynote speaker. She will be joined by three panelists with a range of valuable perspectives, including Nana Gyamfi, Executive Director of Black Alliance for Just Immigration,Efrain Talamantes, Senior Vice President and COO of Health Services at AltaMed, and Sonja Diaz, Founding Director, UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Institute.
The CDU President’s Breakfast will not only provide a platform for thought-provoking discussions but also an opportunity for networking and collaboration among professionals committed to making a positive impact in the realm of immigration and social justice.
