CDU President Named Top Ten Most Dominant HBCU Leader of 2022
CDU President and CEO Dr. David Carlisle was recognized as one of the Ten Most Dominant HBCU Leaders of 2022 by the HBCU Campaign Fund (HCF). HCF is a non-profit educational organization founded in 2012 that aims to support and advocate for private and public HBCUs and Minority Serving Institutions (MSI).
HCF Founder, President & CEO, Demetrius Johnson Jr. said that Dr. Carlisle and his fellow honorees have “proven their responsibilities for shaping policies, changing perspectives, and making decisions that affect millions of individuals in the higher education space, and the daily needs of what an HBCU or Minority-Serving Institution contributes academically.”
This is the fifth class of HCF’s annual Ten Most Dominant HBCU Leaders Award. The award underscores the distinguished and influential role leaders from across HBCUs and MSIs have to effectively move their institution forward. Other recipients include chancellors and presidents currently serving at an HBCU or MSI.
