CDU Celebrates the Holiday Season

Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU) marked the holiday season by creating space for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to gather not simply to celebrate the holidays, but to acknowledge the relationships, resilience, and shared purpose that carry the University forward.
The season’s festivities included the University’s annual Dessert Reception, the End-of-Year Celebration, and holiday gatherings hosted by several academic programs and departments, including the Master of Public Health (MPH) program’s holiday party.
These moments allowed the CDU community to celebrate milestones and reflect on the collective impact of their work in advancing health equity. In a place where hearts learn to heal, the season serves as a reminder that healing begins not only with patients, but within the community itself through connection, compassion, and a shared commitment to one another.
