My name is Minda Ofiana, but please call me Mindy. I am currently an Adjunct Faculty member at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science’s College of Nursing, BSN. I have 1.5 years of teaching experience and specialize in Nursing Leadership and Management, Legal and Ethical Decision-Making in Nursing, and Health Care Policy and Aging.
Before entering academia, I served as a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, with over 45 years of experience in Critical Care Nursing and extensive experience in top operations executive leadership. During my tenure, I developed and executed programs that improved productivity, profitability, and effectiveness while prioritizing patient care quality and safety.
I reside in Upland, California, with my spouse of 45 years, who works as an Accountant. Our five granddaughters bring us immense joy and happiness.
