Dr. Talegria Brown is a Research Associate for the Physician Assistant Program at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Boise State University, where she was a McNair Scholar. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Brown immediately began her doctoral journey, surpassing entering a master’s program. Dr. Brown received her Ph.D. in Public Health from Florida International University from the Department of Health Promotion & Disease Prevention. While in graduate school, Dr. Brown worked for the Florida Department of Health’s COVID-19 investigation team as a Biological Scientist.
