Participating in Commencement

Candidates who expect to complete all degree requirements by spring or fall 2026 are eligible to participate in the 2026 Commencement Ceremony.

Participation in commencement is not automatic; it requires completion of all steps outlined below.

Commencement Checklist

To participate in the commencement ceremony, candidates must complete the following steps:

  1. Confirm degree completion eligibility
    Confirm your eligibility with your Program Director or Coordinator.
    Beginning March 1, commencement communications will be sent only to candidates listed as eligible by Program Directors.
  2. Complete the Commencement RSVP Form
    • RSVP Deadline: March 20
    • The RSVP form is the only way to secure participation in commencement.
    • Forms submitted to the Registrar for degree completion do not count as a commencement RSVP.
  3. Purchase graduation regalia (cap and gown)
    Regalia must be purchased by the deadlines listed below.
  4. Pick up guest tickets
    Information regarding guest ticket distribution will be provided closer to the ceremony date.

Grad Fest

Grad Fest Dates: April 22–23, 2026

Grad Fest provides graduating students with information, resources, and assistance related to commencement preparation.
