The keynote address was delivered by Dr. David Martins, College of Medicine Assistant Professor of Research at CDU.
Following his address, PA program students recited an oath, pledging their commitment to the health profession.
The CDU PA program was established in 1971 and holds the distinction of being the first PA program in the state of California.
CDU PA program students learn and acquire clinical skills in a variety of healthcare settings and will obtain experience in disease management, disease prevention, and health promotion.
The strong emphasis on compassionate care and social justice in the curriculum will prepare students to address complex needs of patients.
