The RN to BSN Track prepares registered nurses to advance their careers, strengthen clinical expertise, and lead in today’s evolving healthcare systems.
The Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN–BSN) degree completion program is designed for licensed registered nurses who hold an associate degree or nursing diploma and are ready to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
This program builds on existing clinical experience while expanding skills in leadership, research, population health, and evidence-based practice. Graduates are prepared to function as professional practitioners, leaders, and advocates in complex healthcare environments.
The RN–BSN program offers a concurrent enrollment pathway for students currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.
Through a structured partnership with their ADN institution, eligible students may begin RN–BSN coursework as early as their first semester.
To remain in the concurrent RN–BSN track, students must:
Maintain good academic standing at both institutions
Provide documentation of current ADN enrollment each semester
Submit additional documentation if requested
RN License Requirement
Students must provide proof of a current and unrestricted RN license prior to completing the RN–BSN program in order to graduate.
Students who complete all coursework but have not yet obtained licensure must take a leave of absence until they successfully pass the NCLEX-RN and obtain their RN license.
Program Goals and Professional Preparation
The RN–BSN program is designed to strengthen clinical expertise while developing leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Graduates of the program are prepared to:
