Our fellowship allocates time each year for an off-site retreat that prioritizes wellness, team building, and honest program reflection. Led by the Chief Fellows, this is an opportunity to step away from clinical work, connect with peers, recharge, and help shape the training experience. The goal is straightforward: to support your growth as both a clinician and a person.
Wellness Activities and Community Programs
Our program offers a variety of wellness initiatives that bring trainees, faculty, and staff together to promote connection, balance, and a sense of community:
Art of Doctoring Club: creative reflection through writing, music, and visual arts.
Annual Program Retreats: protected time for wellness, team building, and program evaluation.
Department Events: inclusive events for trainees, faculty, and staff to learn, celebrate, and engage.
Healing the Healer: self-reflection, empathy, creativity, and grounding through community-based engagement.
Program-Sponsored Socials: informal gatherings that build community outside the clinic.
The program sponsored attendance at the AACAP annual conference.
