The RN-to-BSN curriculum is designed for licensed registered nurses seeking to advance their education and expand their career opportunities.
This Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree completion program combines foundational coursework, leadership training, and evidence-based practice to prepare graduates for roles in public health, management, and advanced clinical settings.
The program is designed for working registered nurses and can be completed in an accelerated format:
Full-time: 3 semesters (12+ credits per semester)
Part-time: 6 semesters (6+ credits per semester)
ADN students: Enrolled in part-time track
Students may transfer up to 84 credits of prior coursework:
40 credits in General Education
14 credits in electives
30 credits in prior nursing coursework
The curriculum integrates nursing theory, research, and leadership to prepare graduates for advanced professional roles.
The program includes one required clinical course: Public, Community, and Global Health Nursing (NUR 417), which meets eligibility requirements for the California Public Health Nursing Certificate. Enrollment is limited to licensed RNs.
