The Pre-Nursing to BSN Track prepares students for entry into a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and careers as licensed registered nurses (RN).
This pathway is designed for first-time college students and transfer students who have not yet completed the required nursing prerequisites. Students begin by completing general education coursework, foundational science courses, and in-residency nursing preparation courses that build the academic and clinical foundation needed for success in professional nursing education.
Students begin as Pre-Nursing majors, completing:
General education coursework
Foundational science courses
In-residency nursing preparation courses
These courses build the academic and scientific foundation needed for success in a BSN program and future nursing practice.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and is approved by the California Board of Nursing.
