His interest in child mental health began while teaching second graders at an underserved elementary school during college. Outside of training, Howard enjoys exploring Los Angeles and is always happy to recommend new places to eat.
Year 2 Fellows
Christopher Chamanadjian, MD
Christopher Chamanadjian is a Year 2 fellow in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at CDU, continuing to build his clinical expertise in caring for children, adolescents, and their families.
Evan Bogdan, MD
Evan Bogdan is a Year 2 fellow and the son of a Peruvian mother and an Eastern European father, raised in Houston, Texas. His multicultural background, participation in a college dance group representing many cultures, and two years of community service in Colombia have shaped his commitment to honoring the humanity in every person he serves.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ and Hispanic communities, Evan is especially attuned to the ways structural inequities and racial injustices can affect mental health. He is dedicated to advocating for children and families who experience societal marginalization. Outside of work, Evan spends time with his large extended family and many nieces and nephews, enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, exploring new food and neighborhoods in Los Angeles, and staying active at the gym.
