Admission Requirements

Admission to the PhD in Translational Biomedical Sciences program is designed for students ready to take their research from theory to application.

Applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Medicine).
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in BCPM coursework (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math).
  • Submit a personal statement describing research goals and program fit.
  • Provide three letters of recommendation and a current resume or curriculum vitae.
  • International applicants must submit a course-by-course credential evaluation.

These requirements ensure each applicant is prepared for the program’s rigorous research, laboratory training, and interdisciplinary study.
