Program Mission Statement
To educate individuals with an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology in enhanced leadership skills, increased knowledge of medicolegal issues that affect imaging professionals, medical imaging management, and understanding of research methodology and literacy. Graduates will have increased career opportunities in management and supervisory positions.

- Explain the formulation and implementation of health care policies, and their effects on patient care.

Professional courses taken at other institutions will not be accepted.
* Students who apply for the modality pathway will be given admission priority to the modality courses of their choice. Principles of Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Mammography, along with their respective Clinical Practicum, can substitute for any combination of 9 units (3 courses) from the starred (*) elective Professional courses: RSC 402, 404, 410, 412, and 420.
Students who apply for the modality pathway track must first provide proof of certification as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and the California Registry of Technologists (CRT).
