CDU Celebrates Inaugural Admit Day for Incoming Fall Students
CDU held its first ever Admit Day for admitted students to prepare for their upcoming Fall semester.
Incoming students heard from the Mervyn M. Dymally College of Nursing Dean, Dr. Gail Washington and Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Sofia Toro, as well as other CDU faculty and staff.
“It was a great event that included incoming students and their families,” said Toro. “They had resources and information to begin getting ready for their programs and get any last questions they have around financial aid, registration, or student services answered.”
Students were able to meet with program managers, network with CDU faculty and fellow incoming students, tour the campus, and learn about various resources available for them through Enrollment Management, the Office of Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, Student Services, and more.
“It is important to have these events for incoming students in order for them to get acclimated before orientation and the first day of class,” said Toro. “They will begin to meet their network and be ready to have a great start at CDU.”
