The UHI-Student Research Core (UHI-SRC) serves as a “Research Hub” to promote and enhance student research training, education and activities at CDU.
In order to meet the nation’s need of enhancing the diversity of the biomedical, behavioral and clinical workforce, the vision of UHI-SRC is to increase the number of underrepresented minority students pursuing careers in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral, and social sciences through exposure to research training and education.
In alignment with CDU’s Strategic Plan (Theme 5, Objective 3), the mission of UHISRC is to strengthen CDU undergraduate and graduate student research training and education. We aim to engage students in innovative and interactive research training and education programs that include research methodology, laboratory techniques, clinical, and community-partnered research.
