Office of Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is the university’s central office that provides comprehensive services to faculty and staff: review, submission, negotiation, and acceptance of extramural grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, MTAs, MOUs, OTAs, and clinical trials for research, training, and other sponsored activities. OSP is committed to efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness in support of the needs of the research community and the external partners with whom it conducts business.

Mission
To support the University’s efforts to identify mission appropriate sources of external support, establish productive business relationships with those sponsors and to manage those grants and contracts effectively.

Vision
The vision of the Office of Sponsored Programs is to be a premier office that guarantees a high level of credibility and accountability. OSP fosters proposal development for research, education, and service throughout the University thereby promoting and sustaining sound business practices and provides the highest quality of administrative management to support the University’s mission.
