James E. Miles, Jr. Lead Facilitator, UCLA
James E. Miles, Jr. is a seasoned group facilitator with 15 years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS. He was employed by the Gay Men’s Health Crisis in New York City for over 10 years and facilitated various focus groups that were targeted at reaching the African American MSM population. He has been featured in POZ magazine for his work within the HIV prevention field and worked closely with major Universities across the nation in their efforts to educate the African American community.

Donta Morrison, Lead Facilitator, UCLA
Donta Morrison has been advocating in the field of HIV/AIDS since 1999 and is a Certified HIV Pre & Post-Test Counselor with the State of California. He has been the keynote speaker on HIV/AIDS within the African American community at UC Berkeley, Cal State Univ. Dominquez Hills, Azusa Pacific University, and Cal State Los Angeles. He serves on the OAPP Faith-Based Community Advisory Board and has facilitated groups that focused on changing the sexual behaviors of minority youth within urban communities.

Marvin Jones, Co-Facilitator, JWCH Institute, Inc.
Marvin Jones began his career in the field of HIV in 2003 and was trained in the art of group facilitation by JWCH, where he has been conducting focus groups for the past 6 months. He is an HIV Certified Pre & Post Test counselor and works primarily in the Skid Row areas of Los Angeles.

Tyrone Clark, Co-Facilitator, The AmASSI Center
Tyrone Clark has been working in the field of HIV since 1999 and is a Certified HIV Pre- and Post-Test Counselor on both the state and county levels. He is nationally trained in administering the rapid HIV test. He has been conducting group facilitations for the past 5 years and is familiar with the many aspects of the local MSM/SGL community.

Kelvin Boatman, Co-Facilitator, Palms Residential Care Facility
Kelvin Boatman is responsible for the housing of HIV residents at the Palms Residential Care Facility and has been connected to the HIV community for the past 5 years. He is a certified HIV Pre & Post-Test Counselor and a member of the HIV/AIDS Second District Coalition. He is an experienced facilitator and been conducting focus groups for the past 4 years where he has interacted with HIV-infected persons in various stages of disease and co-morbidities such as mental illness or drug addiction.
