Program Overview

The Master of Health Sciences (MHS) Physician Assistant program is a 27-month program within the College of Science and Health (COSH), at CDU. The program begins in August of each year and culminates in the December (27 months after matriculation).

Students will learn and acquire clinical skills in a variety of healthcare settings and will obtain experience in disease management, disease prevention and health promotion. A strong emphasis on compassionate care and social justice in the curriculum will prepare students to address complex needs of patients.

Students will share the campus with members of the medical, nursing and public health disciplines, affording the unique opportunity to collaborate with students, patients and other medical professionals. Our program is student-centered and prides itself in innovative teaching approaches that will encourage creativity and help develop future leaders. Graduates of our program will have distinctive skills and experiences that set them apart from other medical providers, so they are not just another "Brick in The Wall."
