CDU’s Mervyn M. Dymally College of Nursing (MMDCON) has been named one of the Best nursing schools, according to U.S. News & World Report. The college ranked in the top 100 at #82 for Best Nursing Schools: Master’s.
The report ranked more than 180 master’s programs (out of more than 600 in the U.S.) according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.
U.S. News derived each school’s overall rank using 15 distinct ranking factors which included faculty resources, research activity, quality assessment, master’s program size, and student selectivity.
“The MSN programs at CDU are designed for individuals seeking to gain expertise as evidence-driven and community centered nurse leaders and nurse practitioners,” said Dr. Sharon Cobb, Director of Prelicensure Nursing Programs. “Graduates of our MSN program reflect mastery in experiential education, health systems management and policy, delivery of high-quality patient care, and serving as a pillar of positive change for local and global communities.
