School of Nursing
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) degree completion program at the Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing is a post-licensure program designed for registered nurses with a previous associate degree in nursing (ADN) or diploma and a current unrestricted Registered Nursing (RN) license. This RN-BSN program includes coursework and behavioral objectives that focus on the development of the nurse's role as a global health care practitioner, researcher, and leader.
Role and Qualifications: The program is designed to develop the professional knowledge and skills of registered nurses and prepare them as generalists who are able to apply critical thinking, professional skills and knowledge to client outcomes and health care systems. The emphasis of this program is on meeting the healthcare needs of underserved populations.
