2017 Oath and Honors Ceremony

What is Oath and Honors?
Often referred to as the Florence Nightingale Pledge, the nursing oath is administered at graduation ceremonies.  Adapted from the Hippocratic Oath, the pledge follows the mantra of “do no harm”.  It also swears loyalty in aiding the physician and freedom from the influence of personal matters.  The Honor’s  segment will recognize student achievement in the School of Nursing.  Students who graduated fall 2016, and those eligible to complete their program in spring 2017, and summer 2017 are invited to participate.
