Program Information

We encourage Pre-Medical Academy students to pursue their interests in medicine through our dynamic undergraduate courses of study in public health, community mental health, biomedical sciences and nutrition sciences and food systems. Through their course work, our students are afforded opportunities to learn directly from top healthcare professionals and executive leaders from around the world, while completing their pre-professional (pre-med) course requirements.

 Program Details:
The program is open to 20-25 exceptional students per year who have decided to pursue a professional career in healthcare.

Duration/Time Commitment:
Students accepted to the program will participate in the program during all four years of their undergraduate studies.

Program Requirements:

  • Maintain a 3.5 GPA
  • Complete a minimum of 24 units each academic year
  • Communicate regularly with Pre-Health and Academic Advisors
  • Participate in all required program activities
  • Complete intensive MCAT Course
  • Take MCAT and receive a score of 500 or more
  • Abide by healthcare professionalism standards and university professionalism standards
  • Complete all required financial aid forms before published deadlines
  • Pay all associated tuition/fees by deadlines as specified*
