CDU Loses a Family Member in Northern California Bus Crash

Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science regrets that Ms. Mattison Haywood, a student in our post-baccalaureate program, lost her life on the bus that was headed to Humboldt State University and crashed in the small city of Orland on Thursday, April 10, 2014. We understand that Mattison was serving as a chaperone. The University’s thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Mattison’s family and friends during this difficult time. The CDU family grieves with them.
