Program Description
CDU’s 3-Year Bachelor Program, in partnership with Dominguez High School and Compton Community College, is designed to empower rising juniors at Dominguez High school with a unique path to careers in healthcare professions such as Doctors, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and more. Through an early start to college experience that is cost-effective, supported by an array of resources, and within a nurturing community, CDU’s 3-Year Bachelor Program seeks to significantly increase the number of students from diverse backgrounds entering the healthcare field.
Program Overview
- During High School – Students take 8 terms of College Coursework while in High School (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring – Jr. and Sr. Years)
- Post High School graduation – Students spend 1 year at Compton College to earn an Associate degree in General Studies: Social and Behavioral Sciences.
- Upon completion of the associate degree – Students transfer to Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, or Public Health within 2 years.

- Minimum GPA of 2.5
