How to repay your federal student loans:
Here’s your guide to repaying your federal student loans- Understanding how to repay your federal student loans can save you a lot of time and money. We’re here to help you manage repayment and answer any questions you have along the way.

Work with your loan servicer to choose a federal student loan repayment plan that’s best for you.- To make your payments more affordable, repayment plans can give you more time to repay your loans or can be based on your income.

Other resources:
Americorps - AmeriCorps places thousands of young adults into intensive service positions where they learn valuable work skills, earn money for education, and develop an appreciation for citizenship. It is possible to have these service positions before or after college/graduate school. The money would be used for tuition payments or loan repayment.

CalREACH Scholarship and Loan Repayment Programs-  The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) is proud to launch CalREACH to make applying for and receiving healthcare scholarships, loan repayments, and/or grants easier and more efficient.

National Health Service Corps - The National Health Service Corps is a federally administered program which is a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The purpose of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) is to recruit and retain medical, nursing, dental, and behavioral/mental health clinicians in eligible communities of need designated as health professional shortage areas.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) – Medical - The NIH Loan Repayment Programs (LRPs) are a set of programs established by Congress and designed to recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals into biomedical or biobehavioral research careers.

U.S. Office of Personnel Management - Federal employees - The program implements 5 U.S.C. 5379, which authorizes agencies to set up their own student loan repayment programs to attract or retain highly qualified employees.
