Dear CDU Family:

Tomorrow marks five weeks since the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti. Since that time CDU faculty, students and staff have heeded the call and have contributed in different ways toward strengthening the relief and recovery efforts that are still critically important for the people of Haiti.

For all those who donated financially through the CDU Haiti Relief Fund, the Academic Senate would like to express their sincere appreciation. To date, $810.00 has been collected to be donated directly to the Red Cross.

Should you wish to donate towards the CDU Haiti Relief Fund, the Academic Senate is still collecting monetary donations at this time.

Financial donations may be given to Mr. Mike Scott (Academic Senate Administrator, Bldg. N trailer, x5978). Checks should be made out to the “Charles Drew University – Haiti Relief Fund”. All donations are tax deductible.
