Online Tutorials for Searching Medline
The following links are to two interactive tutorials that teach searching techniques for working with the Medline database.
The first one, from Duke University, shows how to search Medline through Ovid:

The second link leads to a tutorial on searching Medline through
PubMed, the National Library of Medicine’s search engine for this
database:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/pubmed_tutorial/m1001.html
When you actually begin searching Medline with either Ovid or
PubMed, use the links to the databases from the King/Drew Health
Sciences Library website, http://kdhsl.cdrewu.edu/.
Also, remember that from off-campus you will have to set up your
computer with the library’s proxy server settings. An instruction sheet
is available to borrowers who come to the library with their university
or county badge.
