Introduction
Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science, College of Science and Health offers year round enrichment opportunities designed to increase the number of under-represented minorities to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
College Bound Prep, a summer enrichment program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education MSEIP Grant # P120A070063.
College Bound Prep Plus holds two 15 week sessions during the academic year. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Education MSEIP Grant # P120A00069.
This free program is available to eligible high school students in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area and is designed to introduce minority students to careers in science and the health professions.
Participants gain fundamental knowledge in clinical applications, research laboratory activities and projects, lectures, seminars and workshops.
