Our Vision: To be a national leader in the development and implementation of evidence-based public health graduate education addressing health disparities in urban populations.

Our Mission: To improve the health of urban populations through graduate education of public health practitioners, urban-relevant scholarship, and community service specifically targeting the determinants of health disparities in underserved communities.

MPH Goals

  1. To provide an exemplary education to public health graduate students from underserved and diverse communities for careers in underserved urban health settings.
  2. To promote and conduct health disparities research on urban community health issues
  3. To facilitate the participation of MPH students and MPH primary faculty in community health services that promote health to underserved populations
