Welcome to the College of Science and Health!
Thank you for visiting the Charles R. Drew University College of Science and Health web pages. Our current programs are:
Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science has applied for provisional accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The Primary Care Physician Assistant Program anticipates matriculation of its first class in Fall 2015, pending provisional accreditation in 2014. Provisional accreditation is an accreditation status for a new PA program that has not yet enrolled students, but at the time of its comprehensive accreditation review, has demonstrated its preparedness to initiate a program in accordance with the accreditation standards.
In addition to our academic programs, the college sponsors opportunities in research, mentorship, and leadership. We are committed to providing high quality education to prepare our graduates to become leaders and innovators in healthcare and science. Graduates of our institution are recognized for their dedication to serve the underserved with excellence and compassion.
