CDU/UCLA Medical Education Program
Medical Student Resources
The first two years of the curriculum are block-based, and spent at UCLA. Here is a link to medical student resources at the DGSOM at UCLA, including academics, student health and wellness, registrar, and schedules: http://www.medstudent.ucla.edu/current/
In the summer after their second year, students complete the Clinical Foundations course and transition into the clerkship portion of the program. At that time, students align themselves more closely with the CDU campus, which becomes their “home base.” The CDU Medical Student Affairs Office begins a more active involvement in students’ academic careers, assisting with scheduling, test preparation, and the residency application process.
