Dr. Satuito received her dental degree in 1988 from the Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines. She completed her postgraduate training in Hospital Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of the Philippines, Philippine General Hospital in 1991. She migrated to the United States in 1993 and passed the California Dental Board Licensure in 1997. She then started private practice. In June 2004, she completed her fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry at King/Drew Medical Center and has been on the teaching staff since. Dr. Satuito is active in her community and in professional organizations where she was just elected, President-Elect for the Southern California Filipino Dental Association. She is a member of the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry, Special Care Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology. She has presented abstracts at various scientific meetings such as the American Geriatric Society, May 2005, American Association of Public Health Dentistry, May 2004 and the California Dental Association.
