Colonya C. Calhoun D.D.S. – Assistant Professor, I, Career Academic Series, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry. Dr. Calhoun received her B.S. degree in 1992 from Eastern Michigan University and her D.D.S degree from the University of Michigan/Ann Arbor in 1997. Dr. Calhoun completed her internship at the University of Maryland Medical System/Baltimore in 1998 and completed her residency at Martin Luther King/Charles Drew University in 2004 both in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. |

Dr. Calhoun is currently a PhD candidate at the University of California/ Los Angeles in the Department of Oral Biology with plans to defend her thesis by the end of 2005. She holds professional memberships in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Christian Medical and Dental Society, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Association of Cancer Research and the International Association of Dental Research/ American Association of Dental Research. |
