  About Us
 
The Division of General Internal Medicine consists of 9 full time faculty members and is the largest Division in the Department of Internal Medicine. Its mission is to serve as the foundation for the department and a cohesive link between various subspecialties. Priority is given to the development, refinement and revision of curricula for medical consultation and ambulatory medicine.

The major responsibilities of the Division include medical clinics, medical consultation, attending on medical wards, supervision of admissions and consults by Hospitalists and academic activities including teaching and research. Table 1 shows the organizational structure of the Division.
