CDU Faculty and Professional Learning Communities (FLCs) and (FPLCs)
Faculty Learning Communities invite applications for participation from CDU faculty members and professional/administrative staff.
Up to 12 participants can be selected for each community. Criteria for selection include commitment to excellent teaching, level of interest in the program, need, openness to new ideas, potential for contributions to the program, and plans for use of the year. Participants will be chosen to create a diverse group representing a variety of specialties, experiences, and needs.
There are two types of FLC/FPLCs: Cohort-based and Topic-based. Cohort communities could include Junior Faculty, Mid-Career Faculty, Deans, or other groups. Topic-based communities are proposed by faculty and professional staff members on areas of interest. Background on Faculty Learning Communities
