Financial Aid & Scholarships

Financial aid for the Medical Education Program is administered through the Office of Student and Residential Financial Services at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. This office assists students in meeting the costs of their medical education by federal, state and institutional need-based financial aid and merit scholarships. This office also offers financial counseling and assistance.

Private scholarships are awarded through Charles R.  Drew University and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA based on academic achievement and financial need. Scholarships that have previously been awarded previously include:

    • Charles R. Drew Auxiliary Scholarship
    • Pfizer Award Scholarship
    • UniHealth Foundation Scholarship
    • Association of Black Women Physicians
    • James Irvine Foundation Scholarship
    • Gold Scholarship
    • Geffen Scholarship Program
