The Office of Medical Student Affairs and Curriculum provides academic and personal support services to students and is responsible for the administration of the curriculum for the Charles R. Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program. We supervise student clubs and organizations affiliated with the Charles R. Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program.

Highlighted activities and programs administered by Medical Student Affairs, include:

  • Pre-matriculation program for first-year medical students
  • Career advisement and mentoring
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
  • Commencement
  • Multi-specialty conference/college seminars

Student Organization and Activities

The University recognizes the importance of the contributions of student organizations. Students in the Charles R. Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program have the opportunity to participate in academic, cultural, community, social and athletics programs.  Such opportunities include:
