Project/College Bound PREP
Charles
Drew University offers a six-week summer institute: CDU Project PREP (A
Planned Recruitment, Experience and Preparation Project) to eligible
high school and community college students in the Los Angeles
Metropolitan Area. The program is free and is designed to introduce
minority students to careers in allied health professions. Institute
participants gain fundamental knowledge about clinical applications
through participation in clinical orientations, laboratory workshops,
lectures and seminars
