  • The University is recognized by the Department of Education under Title III B as a Historically Black Graduate Institution.
  • The University is a charter member of the Hispanic-Serving Health Professions Schools, a national nonprofit dedicated to improving the health of Hispanic people through research initiatives, training opportunities, and academic development.

IMPACT ON OUR COMMUNITY

  • A California Wellness Foundation report estimated that one-third of all minority physicians, practicing in Los Angeles County, are graduates of the CDU medical school and/or residency training programs.
