The Interns' and Residents' Building (I & R Bldg) is conveniently located adjacent to the medical center west of the main hospital. The I & R building faces Compton Boulevard with connecting walkways to the Leroy Weeks Building and the main hospital.
On campus housing offered to all incoming Physician Post-Graduate 1 & 2, available on a first come first serve basis. Priority is given to individuals moving to Los Angeles from out of state and outside of the Los Angeles area.
Applicants who live in the Los Angeles area must have permanent residence over 50 miles from the hospital to qualify to apply for accommodations.

Application
If you are interested in applying for housing, an application will be provided in a special mailing sent to you directly from the office of Graduate Medical Education. This mailing will take place in the middle of May to assist you in preparation for next year.

Expense
Monthly rent for is estimated to be $140.00 per month. The rental agreement is a month-to-month contract, with the option of automatic payroll deduction.
