Mr. Leeka has been a vital force in the Los Angeles health care community for more than 27 years. He has served for the past 11 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Good Samaritan Hospital, a 408-bed nonprofit tertiary care medical center in the downtown Los Angeles area. Prior to joining Good Samaritan Hospital, he was Chief Operating Officer of City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California, and President of a for-profit, 107-physician medical group. Mr. Leeka began his career in numerous corporate positions as a financial analyst, cost accountant, contracting director, and held other responsibilities in the financial division. Mr. Leeka is a graduate of the University of California Riverside with a B.S. in Psychology and Biology. He holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California Los Angeles, a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University Northridge, and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Behavior from Phillips Graduate Institute.
