Dr. Nancy Hanna is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science and at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Hanna received her BMS and M.D. Degrees (1981-1987) from the University of Cairo, School of Medicine, Cairo Egypt. She completed an Internship at the University of Cairo Hospital, Cairo, Egypt. After completion of her Internal Medicine Residency Chief Residency and Executive Chief Residency at King-Drew Medical Center, she was promoted to Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program. Dr. Hanna received numerous awards and commendations for her excellence in teaching and for her dedication and tireless effort to ensure ongoing full program accreditation.
In 2005, Dr. Hanna assumed her new leadership role as the Designated Institutional Official and Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education GME) at Charles Drew University and King Drew Medical Center. She directs the GME Committee which consists of all the residency and fellowship program directors, resident representatives and staff.
